Interest in sports and wellness rose as a result of the Tokyo 2020. To turn this interest into a legacy for future generations, the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon which is open to everyone was created and uses the same course as the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Marathon, beginning and ending at the Japan National Stadium.
